States we drove through today:
Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas.
This morning we said good bye to friends in Nashville and drove to Clarksville for breakfast at Michelle's aunts place. Blueberry pancakes and bacon anyone? Yes please :)
Next destination: a famous Kansas city bbq joint - Arthur Brians.
After hours of driving we finally make it to the bbq joint.
Fast service, lots of people and great price, but most importantly - great bbq food. We got a pound of meat - ribs, pulled pork and burned ends with fries and slaw.
I even got their bbq rub spice which I'm excited to use once in Oregon.
We stayed at a hotel for an evening and slept deeply after a long day in the car.
Next destination - Colorado! Friends, beer, food, altitude, here we come.
